plural of human

    Chinese (中文)+ English = Chinese Canadian
    What is the plural form of "human"? What is the past tense of "rise"? Also, does this sentence make sense? "Why are dogs humans' companions?" Thanks!

    USA, English
    "Humans" if you refer to a number of individuals. But you'd say "humanity" to refer to all humans as a group.
