    Hello. May we build a multilingual glossary of cat and dog breeds?

    Here are a few names of dog and cat breeds in English. Notice: They are not necessarily presented in alphabetical order, and it's not an exhaustive list. I will upload an Excel file when I gather more information.

    Interesting post. I like these lists of dog breeds. You share all breeds here. I like the German Shepherd dogs.

    You really should check the Turkish Kangal dog. There are two variants. The Akbaş (whitehead) and the Karabaş (blackhead).

    We have a female Akbaş living with us.

    This dog was brought to Anatolia from Central Asia long ago. A very special and strong dog capable of herding a flock and defending it from wolves, lions, tigers, bears, etc.

    Also don't forget the Van cat and the Ankara cat. :)
