Hi everyone, I'm working on transcribing interviews with medical personnel in Portugal and I'm stuck with a nurse who has just been asked "How many beds are there in your hospital?" The reply, after some counting , "tres, seis, oito", was "Dez postos de internamento" so my question is what is a "posto de internamento" - my (intelligent ;)) guess is "inpatient bay" but that doesn't tell me how many beds there are. Is there a standard number of beds to a "posto de internamento"?

1 posto de internamento = 1 bed and it's equipment (or 1 cradle, or 1 incubator, or 1 intensive care bed, etc.)
