I have a question about how to translate the term "pound sign" to spanish. I'm referring to the phone key. Muchas Gracias to whoever can help!

"pound sign" means "tecla numero",,,or "tecla numeral" or simply "numeral"

Ducky, the links fenix and belen have provided will lead you to a (literally) exahusting discussion on the use of # around Spanish-speaking world.

Although it's mentioned in the threads linked to above, I just wanted to clarify that in the UK the "pound sign" always means this: £ (the symbol for pounds sterling), whereas # is called a hash symbol.
