Je souhaite traduire cette phrase en anglais. Je pensais à quelque chose du genre:
To configure the computer and keyboard into french.
Y a t'il un mot plus adapté? Merci de votre aide et à bientot de vous lire.

To configure the computer in french with a french keyboard.
    ou
To set up the computer and keyboard in french.
    I would not use «into».

Now, I would use into. If you configure in French, then you use French as your reprogramming language. Into refers very specifically to the target language, so it is correct here.

PS: I'd also use a capital letter for French, wouldn't you?.

Yes, French has to be capitalized in English. I think I like configure it for French better than "to" or "into".

For me the clearest option could well be: to set the keyboard layout and computer language to French.

This roughly reflects the terminology used in the Windows operating system.

Ce n'est pas tant le "keyboard" que son "layout" que l'on change.

Je suggère : « Change the language setup and the keyboard layout to French ».

Oui, vous avez raison, mais je crois que «Set et up the computer and keyboard for French» (n'oubliez pas la majuscule) est complètement clair. Elle est bref, mais facile à comprendre.
