I, the undersigned, xxx, Secretary of the Chambre des notaires du Quebec, a professional order duly contituted in virtue of the Notarial Act and the Professional Code, having its Head Office at Montreal, ....

  2. Hi Holz-und Bücherwurm.

Among many other meanings, in this case “order” refers to a group of professionals (Des notaires du Quebec) upon whom the Notarial Act and the Professional Code has bestowed such an honour and the responsibilities that it brings.

In Spanish, “orden profesional” or “agrupación profesional”.
