    Hi!

I have no idea what a "public-safety answering point" (of the police) is in Spanish. It's the call center where all the emergency calls go to.

Is it: " unidad de emergencias" de la policía?

Somebody I know worked in one and needs to translate it to spanish for her cv.

    Thanks!!!

So what does "point" refer to? The call center where the person worked is called an "answering point"? If so, you could call it un centro de llamadas.

    Thanks for your reply!!

In English it's officially called a "Public-safety answering point" (check the first link when googled: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public-safety_answering_point). I just found this term on a Spanish police website:

Unidad de Gestión de Atención a Urgencias.

    Sounds good doesn't it?
