One comes across an interjection in Punjabi, lax la3nat. May I please ask for the exact meaning of it?

I always thought it was lakhh (laakhh in Urdu).......as in, "us par lakhoon dafa laa'nat ho!"

I hope this is a serious question, janaab-i-marrish SaaHib!

lax is actually lakh/lakhkh (laakh). The other word I need not go into, now that the first half has been "decoded"!

"qaaf" durust karte karte "khaaf" bhii bigaR gayaa!!:)

May you/he/she/they be damned (a thousand* times over)!

    * Of course lax = 10 to the power of five!

Thank you for your replies, Qureshpor SaaHib and Alfaaz. I must confess that this question had something jocular in it, but actually I wanted to be reassured in my perception of it, and it is hereby happened!

For the sake of correctness, Alfaaz, in Urdu it is never geminated (kh).

khaaf bigaR gayaa... exhilariating! As a matter of fact, I've never heard it as lakhkh in this expression, always as lax!
