The context is that of a distribution network, mainly for things like water, electricity, gas, etc. The "punto de consumo" is where the thing being supplied is used. In the case of an electrical network, this might be a wall socket for example, but I'd like to know if there's a more general term. For example, if talking about a plumbing system, we might say "la presión en cualquier punto de consumo no debe superar 500 kPa" - "the pressure at any xxx must not exceed xxx psi". We could use exactly the same sentence for an electrical network: "La tensión en cualquier punto de consumo no superar 500v".
Any ideas for a term that is equally applicable to both?
