    Good Morning,
    I´d like know entire extension for "bid" (USA). I saw in medical prescription about drug dose.
    Similar is "tid" that I translated as "times by day". Is it right?
    Original text:

    Perma-Clear 3 caps bid

    Phytoprofen 2 caps tid

    Thanks for your helping. I apologize for my English.

    bid is twice a day. A latin abbreviation.

    qd = once daily
    bid = twice a day
    tid = three times a day
    qid = four times a day

    it is short for bis in die, ter in die and so on.
