Un paciente que padece de infecciones de gargantas frecuentes me explico que un curandero le quebró las anginas para que ya nunca más le duela la garganta. Yo nunca había oído de esto.

¿Alguien me puede explicar que es esta práctica?

Hola. Supongo que se refiere a "extirpar las anginas" (remove).
Lo que no sé es si un curandero puede hacer eso.
    Saludos.

    hello:

I haven't read/heard that expression. It seems a colloquial phrase.

It could help to know from where it is.

and No, I don't think a "curandero" can do it.

Creo que consiste en "masajear" el ganglio de la axila, que está inflamado a causa de la amigdalitis.
De su supuesta eficacia no doy garantía.

Sometimes when a patient has a severe case of tonsilitis or strep throat, a cyst forms on the tonsils themselves, requiring an ENT to lance the cyst and relieve the buildup of pus. Perhaps the patient was referring to that procedure?

This is a procedure that would be done in an ENT's office, not by a curandero.

    Just my two cents.
