I am translating a legal document regarding divorce and struggling with the phrase "Quedando el caso sometido para dictamen" which I believe is "the case is presented for ruling", but not sure how to translate "Quedando" in that phrase. The entire sentence is as follows: "Previa juramentacion a la parte demandante se desfilo prueba en apoyo de las alegaciones de la demanda, quedando el caso soemtido para dictamen"
Thank you in adance for your help!

I would say, "...,and the case was (subsequently) submitted for judgment."
