    Hi all,

How would I say in English the following sentence?:

"Cependant, de nombreuses interrogations restent sans réponse" or "Cependant, des questions restent encore en suspens"

Do you see what I mean?
You can change the words in my proposal, I only care of the sense.

    Thanks.

    How about:

    Therefore, many questions are responseless.

    Or:

    ... are given no response.

Could we say: there are pending questions ?

    Maybe "these questions are pending"
    But "unanswered" is more common.

Questions can also be "left hanging", although I don't think that would do in the case above, where "unanswered" is definitely better, as verity17 says.
