    Hello everybody!!

Please, which expressions are suitable to describe a person whose mood is quickly changeable, and who is easily made sad then easily turned glad. His acts follow the feeling of his heart rather than the reason of his mind.

    Thanks

There's a list of suitable words in our thesaurus: http://www.wordreference.com/thesaurus/changeable

As you see, there are a lot. I like 'mercurial' but the context would be helpful. Is the person always like this? Is he normal? Is something causing the changes?

Do native speakers think that "He's liable to wild mood swings" could fit the bill?

It could do, particularly if he is mentally unstable, on the other hand, he could simply be excitable.
