Themed List Rules Each themed list must have a narrowly defined theme or topic. If unsure about your theme, ask in the "choose a theme" thread. All words and phrases must follow the theme. Do not distract from the conversation. Two separate threads are being created for each theme: - a discussion thread, created by the theme starter, where members are invited to post additions, translations, modifications and comments; - a (closed) list thread which is the "theme database", marked by the smilie. The moderator will update it regularly with members' proposals. The threads for each theme include links to each other; the links are in the first post in each thread. When adding a new entry to the list: (Required) Add the word or phrase. (Optional) Explanation or definition - usually in the same language as the word or phrase. Do not copy from dictionaries other than WordReference dictionaries. (Optional) Equivalent term or translation in the other language. When editing a previous entry to provide more information (or suggest a change): Copy the entire previous entry. Make your suggested changes or additions. .
