    Hi

What word do you use in Spain for reconstruction, to describe (for example) a reconstruction/re-enactment of a scene for the purpose of a TV programme. You normally see the word in the top corner of the screen.

    Thanks

Modernizar = Si la escena ya esta construida y solo se tiene que mejorar/cambiar su aspecto [If the scene already exist and only has to improve it / change their appearance]
Rehacer = Cambiar el aspecto de la escena en improvisar (venir con nuevas ideas) [Change the appearance of the scene in improvising (come with new ideas)]

Aunque para tener una certeza segura, tendria que venir con una opinion y un nativo español.
    Saludos.

    Thanks.

Just to clarify what I mean (in case there is a more apt translation), I'm referring to a reconstruction of (for example) the lead-up to a crime, in order to jog the memories of those watching, in case they can help police with their enquiries.

Another example: a reconstruction of the scene of an acciendent for the purpose of a documentary.

I still say it's "reconstrucción": "reconstrucción de un accidente" :)

This is what the WR dictionary has to say:
    Compound Forms:
reconstrucción de los hechos reconstruction of events
    event reconstruction

    ¡Saludos amigos! :)

Ah, in that case, I'm lost. I didn't think reconstruction was a Spanish word. You said:
