    Hello,

I'm trying to translate: "registration area." It's a sign in a hospital where people sign in, etc...It could be: área de registo, but that sounds very odd to me, but I'm not sure. Any help?

Maybe we tend to say (at least in Spain) Registro. It's implicit that it is an "área de registro" .

Ah, yes...recepción is perfect and what I'd use too! :).
