registro público de comercio

    Por favor, podrian ayudarme a traducir: registro publico de comercio?

    Texto: El estudio de la materia Sociedades me ayudo en mucho aspectos, atento que en ese momento constituimos una sociedad ante la IGJ (registro publico de comercio de Capital Federal)

    Dí para que jurisdicción lo necesitas por si algún otro te puede dar el equivalente para el país donde vayas a usar el texto, por si te hace falta para que el destinatario lo entienda. en Inglaterra el equivalente es el companies house, preo hay países que ni siquiera tienen. Yo muchas veces lo traduzco como "commercial registry" (soy español, también lo he visto como mercantile registry).

    I think you want to try to capture and convey in English the meaning of "registro publico de comercio," as used in Spain (or whatever country you are referring to), rather than try to apply the terminology of some other system in some other country, such as "company house," or whatever.

    The "public commercial registry" or "public business registry" would instantly convey to the English reader what sort of institution you are referring to.

    In some areas in Canada, this entity is known as the "Corporate Registry." An equivalent term in the USA (depending on the state) can be "State Corporation Commission" or "Corporations Division."
