    Hello everyone! I got stuck in the following sentence, and I don't know which option would be the best... what do you think?? Thank you very muuch!

    The stories’ plastic structure reminds of post-impressionistic paintings;

    or
    The storiea' plastic structure recallspost-impresionistic paintings

    Con "reminds" hace falta un pronombre, ej, ... reminds us of X, reminds me of X, reminds one of X

    Con recalls, sin pronombre: "... the structure recalls post-impressionist painting"

    remind someone of something
    recall something

    Pero yo diría: ... the structure is reminiscent of post-impressionist painting

    Otra más:
    ... the structure calls to mind post-impressionist ...

    Muchas gracias! ^^ I like "reminiscent of", suena más formal :)

    Ninguna de las variantes es especialmente coloquial.
    Con "reminds", la versión más formal es "reminds one of".
