reports to tailings

    Hola, por favor necesito que me ayuden con un término que indico en el siguiente contexto:

    "Arsenic is precipitated as ferric arsenate and reports to tailings".

    Mi intento: "El arsénico se precipita como arsenato férrico y... No sé a qué se refiere el término "report" en este caso.

    Entiendo que "reports to tailings" es "reports (as) to tailings".

    Tailings
    , also called mine dumps, culm dumps, slimes, tails, refuse, leach residue or slickens,[1] are the materials left over after the process of separating the valuable fraction from the uneconomic fraction (gangue) of an ore. Tailings are distinct from overburden, which is the waste rock or materials overlying an ore or mineral body that are displaced during mining without being processed.

    "El arsénico se precipita como arsenato férrico y enviado a colas.
