How would you translate the word/phrase 'roast dinner' into Italian, referring to the typical English Sunday roast with meat and veg?

    Thanks

I'd just like to point out that Sunday dinner is usually served at midday (or early afternoon), and not in the evening, so I wouldn't translate it as "cena," but as "pranzo." Anyway, "dinner" refers to the main meal (which can be served at midday or in the evening). "Lunch" and "supper" refer to lighter meals (not a "roast dinner").

    Ciao.

Agree with Curio and Connie: è da correggere il dizionario. ;)
