savings gap

    ?hay una palabra/frase española para "savings gap"?

    supongo que se puede decir "la diferencia entre el nivel real de ahorros, y el nivel que el gobierno prefiere", pero me gustaría usar la frase adecuado (si hay) :)

    I do not have a complete answer for you, but I'll `respond since your question languishes.
    I think you may need to provide the sentence and context. "savings gap" all by itself is a little ambiguous, and your definition does not strike me as adequate. One can speak of a "retirement savings gap" or of an "investment-savings gap". If you are speaking of an "investment-savings gap" as used, for instance, in this quote:
    then I would suggest "la disparidad entre la inversión y el ahorro". EDIT: (which is what appears in the Spanish version of that same quote.)

    "la brecha existente entre el nivel de ahorro real, y el nivel deseado"
