Scat Man Doo

    Hello Everybody,<BR>I am reading the book Marley and Me and didn't get the meaning of the expression "Scat man doo". Would you know what does it mean (mainly in Portuguese)?<BR>Thanks a lot

    IIRC, it's a portmanteau/pun combo: scat (feces), doo (doodoo=feces), Kathmandu (for the sound). Apparently the dog would crap profusely, hence the nickname.

    In Portuguese, I don't think there would be a possible direct translation, but the basic idea is: "the dog defecates often and in large quantities". Ele é um "cacāo"?
