Se la péter: "to have an attitude"

"What's with the attitude?" - "*D'où tu te la pètes comme ça?"

    Hellou,

I wanted to know how to perfectly translate and keep the point for "Se la Péter"

Like in : Oh lui!! il va se la péter avec son nouveau cabriolet...

Or j'me la pète grave en citronau pipo, injection electrolix.

Thanks in advance everytime I want to say it in english it's like a pain in the ass, I am saying kind of stop to be proud, but I want more a street slang version if you could have anything like that.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Donc, je dirai :
"He will show off with his new car".

Pour "se la péter grave", par contre, je ne sais pas ce qu'on pourait mettre pour intensifier ça.

    Il se la péte....

He thinks he's the bees' knees.
He thinks he's the dogs' bollocks.
Obviously one is more usable in polite company :p

I guess one could use the all-purpose f***ing as a very colloquial intensifier :D

    Kavash,

How about: He's going to think he's such hot stuff with his new car.

"se la pèter" est de l'argot qui veut dire : il se donne de grands airs, il fait le malin, il est très fier . Par exemple une personne a nouvelle voiture et roulera très vite devant les autres pour faire remarquer: "il se la pète"

    I would say perhaps:

"Oh him!! He is really going to think he's the shit (hot stuff, so cool) with his new Cabriolet..."
