Does Department of Education sounds good?

Hi gualicha! Welcome to the forums. It does sound good but the context it is being used in. The context could change the meaning.

No context. It is only one phrase under a seal of the school in an official transcript.

    Hi,
This goes few years later, but just to clarify this issue (as it comes as one of the first options for the translation of Secretaria Academica when you type in Google).
Secretaria Academica at the end of a transcript (and almost in every context) refer to the Academic Registrar of a university.
The Department of Education is the "Departamento de Educacion" also almost in every context (within a university, as part of the government, etc)
