    Estimados foreros:

no encuentro traducción para este término: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seekers

¿Se conocían como "buscadores" a los seguidores de esta doctrina religiosa?

Como fue una doctrina que duró poco, no aparece ninguna referencia en español.

    Muchas gracias.

I'd imagine that "disidente inglés (Legatine-Arian)" or "Nivelador (Legatine-Arian)" is about as close as you'll get.

Thanks for the options, but they are different doctrines. What characterizes "seekers" is that they they held to no fixed creed, which opposes to "niveladores", and "seekers" would be a kind of "disidentes", I mean, "disidente" is an hiperonymn of "seeker".

I think that's an oversimplified view of the situation - it was an era of change with ill-defined groups whose identity was in flux. But there was a common denominator that they all wanted change.
