necesito poner la siguiente oración en inglés:

Sería preferible que los miembros del Comité no formen parte del Directorio.

It would be preferable that the Committee members do not be part of the Board.

No estoy segura si la construcción es correcta.

    Gracias!

It is grammatically correct, albeit somewhat awkward in the last part.

I would instead say - It would be preferable that Committee members do not form a part of the Board.

Ojo, Fran porque sobra el "do". And now that we're at it, wouldn't it be better to say: It would be preferable for the Committee members NOT TO BE part of the Board?

Might be worth specifying 'Board of Directors'
