    Hi,

she must have already left (suppositon)

I think this can be translated by 'elle a dû être déjà partie', when followed by something like '...parce que je ne vois pas sa voiture'. Even so, this doesn't sound very natural to me. Any ideas?

Either , elle doit être déja partie , or elle a dû partir plus tôt ...

Thanks! With verbs that take avoir (like for example 'he must have already done the housework'), can you say both, 'Il a dû faire le ménage plus tôt' and 'il doit avoir déjà fait le ménage'?
