    Je traduise "Le pont Mirabeau" par Apollinaire.

    Je ne comprends pas le "si" dans cette phrase-ci:

    Les mains dans les mains restons face à face
    Tandis que sous
    Le pont de nos bras passe
    Des éternels regards l'onde si lasse

    Est-ce que "si" correspond comme "as if":

    "While under the bridge of our arms passes the wave as if weary of the eternal looks" ?
