sistema de calificaciones vigente - legal

    Good afternoon. I'm tryin' to find an appropiate equivalent to "vigente" in English. This is taken from a grades certification:

    "Se hace constar que el sistema de calificaciones vigente para esta fecha es de uno a cinco puntos. La nota minima aprobatoria es de tres (3) puntos."

    This is what I have: It is certified that the valid grading system to this date is from one to five points. The minimum passing grade is three (3) points.

    I am not so convinced to use "valid"

    There are many threads on vigente and any dictionary would give various translations. However:

    Se hace constar que el sistema de calificaciones vigente para esta fecha es de uno a cinco puntos. La nota minima aprobatoria es de tres (3) puntos.
    Be advised that the grading scale currently in effect as of this date is from 1 to 5 points. The minimum passing grade is 3 poins.
