How can I translate "Skeleton and main walls" in German ?

The phrase must describe the building conditions.

Interestingly, there's a thread on walls elsewhere where there are discussed several types of 'walls' which caused me to look up in my German dictionary: to my knowledge in Austria a 'main wall' would be a 'tragende Mauer' and not a 'tragende Wand' - seems that in Germany here 'Wand' is used.

(And as a son of a mason I should know what they call them, here in Austria ...)

So 'tragende Mauer' seems to be Austrian German - that just to add to Ablativ's posting.
