Slovene: obračam odločbe ... poskušam tolažiti

    Ne razumem dveh stvari v tem izvlečku:

    Zadnji stavek: "I [turn over?] decisions, I try to read the explanations for the denial of aid, I try to understand, I [try?] to comfort."

    Kaj pomeni tukaj "obračati (odločbe)" -- "razveljavati", morda? -- in kakšna je tukaj razlika med "skušati" in "poskušati"?

    "obračam odločbe" jaz razumem kot listam po odločbah, torej angleško "browse through".
    "skušam" in "poskušam" sta tukaj sopomenki, ugibam, da je avtor uporabil drugo besedo zato, da malce bolj poudari zadnje.

    Assembly
    "Odločbe" seems to refer to the "resolutions", that is, to the denied requests for assistance. The author is going through them.

    Thanks. The dictionary translated obračati as "turn over", but I wasn't sure if it meant *physically* turning over the documents containing the decisions, or *overturning* (= razveljavati) the decisions themselves.
