    Hi,

"my students have failed before in their studies and they have problems with certain subjects, specially with English which they often refuse".

Does it sound natural in English?

    Thanks

    Hola:

A mí me suena muy raro "to refuse English"... yo diría algo así como "which they refuse to study," o "which they don't like."

    Espero que te ayude.

Que tal " which they dislike" pero para de verdad enfatizar el rechazo puedes poner
    Really dislike
    Definitely dislike
    Absolutely dislike
    Reject

¿No debería haber una coma (,) tras English? Yo creo que sí.
,...specially with English, which they often refuse".
