    What could be the translation of "sangrona", meaning a person who is sort of uptight and thinks the world is at her feet or that thinks that she is better than everyone else?

    Cual podria ser la traduccion de "sangrona", significando una persona que cree ke el mundo esta a sus pies o ke se cree mejor ke los demas?

    En varios paises de latinoamerica se refieren a una persona "sangrona" como una mujer cre'ida, odiosa, antipatica.
    Por ejemplo, en las telenovelas Mexicanas y Venezolanas utilizan mucho la expresion "Sangrona" La hija de la duenia de la casa es una sangrona, me trata mal y nunca me mira a la cara.
    Asumo que es posible buscar en la expresion coloquial una palabra en ingles que le de el mismo contexto.
    Aqui podria ser arrogant, aloof etc

    It could also be conceited. Like in the phrase 'no quiero sonar sangrona pero...' the English translation would be 'I don't want to sound conceited but...'
