Je cherche à traduire "standing invitations" dans un document gouvernemental:

    "Ex-Officio Standing Invitations".

    Merci pour votre aide!

A 'standing invitation' is and invitation that is always open - "Come and see me any time" - rather than an invitation for a specific time.
Maybe that will help someone come up with a translation :)

We more often say "open invitation". There is an old thread on this. Ma porte est ouverte was suggested, as was tu peux me venir voir quand tu veux. But can't you say "invitation ouverte" in French?

    Thanks Docbike and Suehil.

I found invitation permanente and invitation ouverte. But here is what Termium says about invitation ouverte:

The same ambiguity exists with 'open invitation' in English.
