I found this is the WR dictionary when I looked for "steady job" - essere assunto in pianta stabile. My question is about whether this is the best and most natural way to talk about this in an informal setting and how to use the whole expression. Can I just say "pianta stabile" for steady job, or does it all have to go together? Sorry if this is a really basic question. Context: Writing about a family member: He's working on his own and looking for a steady job. Lavora in proprio e sta cercando una pianta stabile or ....................... sta cercando di essere assunto in pianta stabile. Thanks!
