Swedish: trångt

The policeman investigating a very sensitive case was attacked after his car had been followed by another car. He is talking to his boss.
Does "trångt" mean here "safe" (said ironically)? Or does he mean that it will be very inconvenient to drive in this situation?

Trångt = cramped. It will be inconvenient having three cars following him.
