    Is there a difference between :

    شنتة
    shanta

    شنتاية
    shantaaye

    بارك الله فيك

    No difference at all, they say the two words to describe the same object which is a bag.

    Just curious ---- I thought a bag was شنطة with a ط.
    Is it pronounced with a ت in Syrian Arabic?

    شنطة is in Egyptian dialect
    in Syria we say شنتة
    :)
