Is there any difference in meaning between voy vs. asisto a tu clase in the following context? I am writing someone about going to her class to sit in and observe it (for the purpose of getting ideas for teaching techniques/strategies). In English, I don’t think it matters in this context whether you use “go” or “attend”, but I’m not sure if that is the case in Spanish. Thanks so much for your help! Original: Do you mind if I go to your class tomorrow? As I mentioned to you in our last meeting, if it wouldn’t bother you, I would really like to observe one of your classes. My attempt: ¿Te importa si voy / asisto a tu clase mañana? Como te mencioné en nuestra última reunión, si no te molestara, me gustaría mucho observar una de tus clases.
