    Ciao eclipse85 :)
When I think of "terrace gardens" I don't think of pots on condo balconies, or "giardini pensili" (which I'd translate "hanging gardens"). I think of terraced landscaping, such as the terrace gardens in Gubbio (or in the CinqueTerre), where flat garden areas are created by low stone walls, allowing one to create a series of gardens on a slope. But maybe I'm getting mixed up with "terraced gardens."

Which Sicilian city/town are we talking about? Would you be able to find a photograph?
