Thank you for ____ ?

    salvete! :) If I were to translate 'Thank you for your encouragement', for example, into Latin, what should I use for the 'for'?

    Oh sorry, forgot to add that in! So far, I have, "gratias tibi ago ____ tua hortatio", the ____ being "for".

    You could use pro with the ablative: gratias tibi ago pro hortatione tua.
