I want to thank a couple for inviting me over their house for lunch. How could I say "thank you for welcoming me into your home" ? Merci pour acceuiller-moi chez vous ??

Or would something like "merci pour votre acceuil chaleureux" be better?

Suggestion: Merci de m'avoir acceuilli(e) (chez vous).

I like your second sentence, though.

in which case the second sentence should read:

    - merci pour votre accueil chaleureux

    The correct translation is :

Merci de m'accueillir chez vous if you've just arrived

But you can say : Merci de m'avoir accueilli chez vous when you're leaving

    Bonjour!

I would like to thank someone for having welcomed me into their home. I am not sure whether I have selected the correct preposition after accueillir though. Is this correct?

"Je vous remercie pour m'avoir accueillir à votre maison."

As well, is there a more elegent/fluid way in which to expression the above thought?

    Merci beaucoup!

    Bonjour,

" Je vous remercie de m'avoir accueilli(e) dans votre maison " est plus juste.
