    Hi,

I've applied yesterday for a job in London, and got an email from one of the recruiters asking about details like my notice period, etc...

I'm writing an answer to his email, and would like to start by thanking him. So, here's my question : would it be strange to start with "Dear Mr. X, Thank you for your email and for your consideration of my application."

Is there a better way to say it?

    Thx in advance !

I usually start with "Dear Mr. X, Thank you for taking the time to review my application."
