    Hello everybody.
I've found this slogan -- The EU Ecolabel makes green choices easy -- in internet... and it sounded great to me. I thought I can use it for my products as well. :)
Now the problem is that I don't know how to translate it in German exactly.

    I thought:
"Euroblume macht ihre gruene Auswahl einfach"

But it seems too literal. :-(

    Can you help me?
    Thanks.

    Hello violapais :)

The official German name of this element is "das EU Ecolabel" (source: eu-ecolabel.de). A search on the Internet yields many hits with the words "mit dem EU Ecolabel (ausgezeichnet)".

My suggestion for your sentence: "Das EU Ecolabel hilft Ihnen bei der Suche nach umweltgerechten Produkten"

I would not say "grün" because this is strongly associated with the party Bündnis 90/Die Grünen here.

Yes, but my customers usually call it Euroblume, or Eu-Blume. :)

 Thank you for informing me! This is a very good and importand point!

Thanks for your help Sowka. Very helpful as usual.

I must admit that I never herad the term "Euroblume" and, spontaneously, it sounds quite ridiculous to me.

Yes, but many people that I know call it "Euroblume". And Wikipedia does it as well... :)

Sure, I just wanted to let you know that it is not that common and well-known on the level of customers than it might be known on the level of eco activists or producers.

I also wanted to comment that people who do not know this particular label, might feel like me and reckon "Euroblume" as being quite ridiculous.

Of course, if you have to use the term, use it.

Actually I've already used the suggestion of Sowka and called it Eu-Ecolabel. :)

Quite a good choice in my opinion. :)
