When somebody has very bad time, other people say: be patient and wait! "The night is darkest before the dawn"

    In Slovenian:

    Noč je najtemnejša pred svitanjem

    In Croatian:

    Noć je najtamnija pred zoru
    Najtamnija je noć prije zore

    In German:

Am dunkelsten ist die Nacht vor der Dämmerung

Do you have it in your language and if yes, how do you say it?

    Thank you!

    Translation in Czech:

    Noc je nejtemnější před úsvitem/svítáním.

In Hebrew: תמיד הכי חשוך לפני עלות השחר [tamid hakhi khashukh lifney alot hashakhar]

In Italian: "La notte è più buia appena prima dell'alba"

But "Più buia è la notte, più vicina è l'alba" too (the darker the night the nearer the dawn)
