    Hi everyone !
I understand the meaning of the sentence, but I have some trouble finding an accurate translation.
"This could not be further from the truth!"
My attempt : "ce n'est pas loin de la vérité!" I'm not sure about the tense of my translation : "est" for "could" :$
What do you think ? Is it correct ? Any suggestion ?
    Thks in advance :)

I think your translation is wrong as the english sentence underlines the fact that it IS far from the truth and you translated it as close to it.
I would say "Ce ne pourrait pas être plus loin de la vérité". But it sounds a bit too litteral.. Any other idea?

Oups ! Indeed, far from the right translation :p
So I suggest (for myself lol) "On est loin de la vérité".
    Is it better ?
