Time flies, kids grow up fast.

A Japanese friend of mine sent me some pictures of her small daughter, who has grown up quite a bit.

I would like to tell her " time flies, I remember when you told me about her birth, and now she is so grown up".

    ” 光陰矢の如し、誕生について話して覚えたけれども、すぐすぐ育ていてね。”

This sentence sounds very unnatural, and besides, it is ungrammatical, too. Could you help me, please ?

Ugh, how unnatural this sentence is. Machine translation is still a very bad tool for Japanese composition.

Let me translate from the scratch:

Thank you. It was not machine translation, though. It was a failed attempt at thinking in Japanese using English. :p
