I have to translate the above phrase, "titular de la notaria" from a Mexican Spanish document to US English.

Is it licensed by the notary ... It is followed by an address.

Never seen this before and I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

El titular de la notaría es el Notario mismo. Algunos notarios se llaman a sí mismos simplemente notarios, otros dicen ser los titulares de la notaría #xyz.
    Suerte!

I need help with the same phrase but "head of notary office" doesn't sound quite right to me, please any other suggestion for "titular"

Does "Principal of the notaries office at..." sound better?
