    quelqu'un peut-il m'aider à traduire la phrase suivante:
"But it has allowed the son of a couple of nobodies, who was denied a floor pass to the Democratic Convention eight years ago..."
    ?
La partie en gras me pose un gros problème
    merci d'avance

It's not to deny a floor. It is to deny a floor pass. ...un permis d'entrance de la Convention Democratique

My suggestion wasn't very good but for an accurate translation I was trying to give the idea of an object. A 'floor pass' is an actual physical thing, not an abstract.
