What does "to run a tight ship" mean please?
The context is that the husband is afraid of his wife and does everything her way.
The husband's friend is making fun of him and says "your wife is running a pretty tight ship around here, doesn't she?!"

    Elle tient les rênes fermement?

    Thanks:)

    Hi maxime123,

Your own attempt at translation is perfect.
